Fine Art Lamps, a premier manufacturer of decorative lighting, has just received the prestigious ARTS Award as Lighting Manufacture of the Year. This award recognizes excellence in retailing, manufacturing, product design and sales representation.

This award is the premier award for the home fashion industry. Of the 19 years that the awards have existed, Fine Art Lamps has won an unprecedented 9 times. Fine Art Lamps also has the distinction of being inducted into the prestigious Hall of Fame, one of only two lighting companies.

In accepting on behalf of 800 employees and territory managers, Chairman Max Blumberg said that "the judges' choice of an American manufacturer proved it can still be done in America by Americans."  To inaugurate 2008, the company has introduced Mid-Century Inspirations, Warwickshire, East West Passage collections and expanded the best-selling Beveled Arcs collection.

The unique lighting styles in Mid-Century Inspirations evoke the original design of the middle years of the 20th century. Crisply articulated and knife-pleated elements in weathered dark bronze patina with copper highlights are complemented by hand-blown art-glass from Fine Art Lamps' glass studio, infused with variegated bronze and copper.

Warwickshire is an elegant outdoor collection. The county where Shakespeare was born lends its name to a unique collection of individually beveled, leaded glass outdoor lighting fixtures set in a dramatic dark wrought iron patina.

"With the start of each new season, we provide the marketplace with refreshing new designs with the quality and craftsmanship that they have come to expect from Fine Art Lamps," said Rene Quintana, President and COO of Fine Art Lamps.  The new collections reflect Fine Art Lamps' credo, Inspired by Design, which drives the company's creative process.
